About Crepeau Mourges

Our Mission

At Crepeau Mourges, a veteran-owned law firm, we are singularly determined to effectively and efficiently resolve your tax and business needs. Our focus is on you. We strive to only provide value-added, necessary legal representation. As a client, you can expect full attention from an experienced attorney, including straightforward clarity and communication throughout our representation. We are committed to providing an unparalleled level of service. We tell it like it is and do not make promises that cannot be kept.

To provide the highest level of service, we focus our practice primarily on legal matters involving complex tax and business issues facing individuals, estates, and businesses. With significant experience advocating and litigating before a variety of federal and state courts and agencies, we are prepared to deliver the zealous advocacy necessary to obtain the best result for you.

We are centrally headquartered in Maryland in the BWI corridor. Although our office is convenient to both the Baltimore and Washington metro areas, we frequently handle matters affecting individuals and businesses throughout the United States and the world. Our attorneys are licensed to practice law in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, and Florida and are authorized to handle all federal tax matters before the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Tax Court. Our attorneys have also been recognized by Super Lawyers, Benchmark Litigation, FIVE STAR Wealth Manager, Martindale-Hubbell, JD Supra, and the Maryland State Bar Association for excellence related to the practice of law.

We look forward to serving you.

Yours truly,

Brian J. Crepeau

The unique experience and knowledge of our lawyers distinguishes Crepeau Mourges from other law firms. Brian and I are dual practitioners with licenses as attorneys at law and as Certified Public Accountants (CPAs). Our firm’s lawyers possess advanced degrees in tax (LL.M. in Taxation) and are certified in examination techniques (Certified Fraud Examiner). Our unique understanding of tax, business, and financial issues – from both a legal and financial perspective – allows us to deliver value-oriented advice on a holistic basis. Whereas many practitioners would employ one or more outside consultants to address these diverse issues, at Crepeau Mourges, we can navigate all of these issues simultaneously and cost-effectively.

Our knowledge of complex tax and business issues is extensive. We frequently represent individual and business taxpayers locally, regionally, nationally, and worldwide. In most cases, we have firsthand experience in similar matters that can be used to benefit our clients. Where we have not previously encountered a novel issue or situation, we draw on our significant experiences and contacts to achieve the best possible results. As we aim to provide effective and value-driven results, we are prepared to assist in finding outside expertise, if necessary.

We have decades of experience in business in tax as both lawyers and CPAs. In our prior roles as partners of a preeminent Maryland law firm, we learned what works for clients and what does not. We look at our clients as partners – not billable hours. We will listen to you, work with you, and counsel you to achieve the best possible results in light of financial and non-financial constraints. We offer no-cost initial consultations to offer perspective on proposed representation and strategies for resolution.

On behalf of Crepeau Mourges, I look forward to helping you resolve your legal issues and to becoming a partner in your success.

With regards,

Brandon N. Mourges
